Last Saturday, the acclaimed YouTube Show, The Phil Taitt Show gave giving back a new meaning, with a sophisticated evening sponsored by Miss Jessie’s and Sheen Magazine at a private boutique suite in Brooklyn, New York.
The program donated proceeds to the Dream Reach Inspire Youth Program, which will be visiting various school sites this spring.
Fashion cultural Icon Misa Hylton, and powerhouse brand builder Ericka Pittman highlighted the evening.
The Phil Taitt Show honored both Hylton and Pittman for their tremendous impact on the community and an undeniable mark in their respective fields.
Both women have inspired change in the lives of many people through their success in their own careers. This was evident with special presentations of both honoree panelists and the conversation they participated in, led by host Phil Taitt.
The conversation was lighthearted, entertaining and most importantly, rousing.
Taitt provided thought-provoking questions, which allowed the honorees to dig deep into their own personal lives.
Pittman provided information on how she rose to a high level of success from her humbled begings in East New York, Brooklyn, to becoming the Chief Marketing Officer of Sean Combs-owned water brand, Aqua Hydrate.
Misa shared personal stories of styling 90s musical legends, which include the likes of Lil Kim, Mary J Blige, Jodeci and Missy Elliott, to just name a few.
Distinguished guests were graced with a musical performance by praise and worship singer Monique Jean Pierre. Jean Pierre’s voice, charisma and powerful words of never surrendering left the room with an awe-inspiring feeling.
The ForSmiles produced evening concluded with award presentations to both powerful women!
