
College coaches take notice.
Transit Tech senior Jeremy Moranta continues to prove he’s one of the best players in the PSAL. The five-foot-ten shooting guard poured in game-highs with 46 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Express’ 109-96 victory over Wingate Monday night at home.
The win improves Transit Tech’s record to 9-2 in the PSAL’s highly competitive Class AA Conference and 14-3 overall.
The Express had three other ballers who scored in double-digits: Jabez Griffith (14), Kharon Grimes (11), and Kevin Martinez (10).
Tyler Thomas drained a team-best 33 points for the Generals (3-8) while Dontate Creedland and Jah Dean Francis chipped in with 26 and 23 points, respectively.
Transit Tech returns to the hardwood tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. versus host Brooklyn Tech, who also 9-2 in league play, while home squad Wingate faces Prospect Heights at 4:30 p.m.
