ROSEMONT, Pa. – The College of Saint Elizabeth Division III Women’s Basketball team dribbled away with two honors, as sophomore guard Maria Devincenzo and junior forward Kamani Williams captured the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player and Defensive Player of the Week awards, respectively, the league announced on Monday afternoon
DeVincenzo averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists while shooting 9-for-13 (69.2 percent) from behind the arc in a 2-0 week against Notre Dame of Maryland and Clarks Summit to help the Eagles secure a playoff spot.
The Tampa, Fla., native drained 27 points and was 6-for-9 from three-point land against Notre Dame while adding nine assists versus the Gators. She also poured in 15 points and was 3-for-4 from deep to go along with eight boards against Clarks Summit.

Williams averaged 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds (8.5 defensive rebounds), and 2.0 blocks in a 2-0 week in which she helped limit both Notre Dame (Md.) and Clarks Summit — both of which are playoff teams — below their season scoring averages.
The College of St. Elizabeth hosts Cedar Crest on Wednesday at 8 p.m. and will honor alum Deja Ingram with the unveiling of the newest addition to the 1,000 point banner.
