Malachi Smith of St. Raymond and PSA Cardinals gets Wake Forest offer (Twitter).

Class of 2021 St. Raymond’s (Catholic High School Athletic Association) point guard Malachi Smith keeps piling up the Division-I college basketball offers.

Smith, a six-foot point guard/combo guard who also plays AAU ball for the PSA Cardinals, added another one today, as Wake Forest University put its collective hat in the ring.

Additionally, the Bronx native has standing offers from St. Peter’s, Iona, Stony Brook, Dayton, Manhattan, and UMass, per multiple sports media outlets.

However, the rising senior’s dream basketball school program–UCONN, according to ZagsBlog.com–has yet to step in and offer him a shot at being a Huskie.

But I doubt Smith’s hoop attention will stop at seven colleges, as he’s been on the radar of several other teams, per reports.
