Rutgers Men’s Basketball has stepped up and offered Christ Essandoko, a 6-foot-10 center at Winston Salem Christian School (NC), today Verbal Commits Tweeted.
Additionally, Wake Forest, New Mexico, Seton Hall, South Florida, San Diego State, North Carolina, and Oral Roberts have offered the French-born Essandoko, according to reports.
Right now, several high school basketball media outlets list the junior big guy as a two-star recruit. But that should change, as he has plenty of time, as well as the physical traits, to develop his hardwood skills.
The Scarlet Knights posted a 20-11 mark and went 11-9 in Big 10 Conference action.
