Texas High School Dual Threat Jadeyn Merrill Commits to NJ’s Rider Softball

Jadeyn Merrill, a junior outfielder/pitcher at Lamesa High School in Lamesa, Texas, has verbally committed to play Division I softball at Rider Univeristy (NJ), yesterday she Tweeted.

Jadeyn Merrill is all smiles in the NJ snowy confines of Rider Univeristy.

Merrill, a hitter known for her slugging prowess, fired a no-hitter at the Top Club National Fall Invite in November, making her vicious a dual threat on the diamond.

Merrill also plays fast pitch travel softball Athletics Mercado- Olguin.

The Broncos posted a 1-12 record before COVID-19 forced the cancelation of all athletics.

Rider softball is scheduled to start its season on Saturday, March 20th, with a time to be determined, as it host Quinnipiac.
