Freshman Simone Pelish of Our Lady of Lourdes High School (NY) and AAU Hoopers NY 17U squad has picked up another college basketball offer, this time from Manhattan College, yesterday Hoopers NY Coach Dan Melious Tweeted.
The six-foot Pelish, skilled beyond her years, also owns offers from Division I Marist, Seton Hall, Ohio State, Syracuse, and Butler women’s basketball programs.
Pelish, who earned all-section honors in Westchester/Rockland counties this past season, averaged 15.5 points, 6.1 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game with the Hoopers NY in the AAU season.
The Jaspers posted a 11-9 overall record and went 9-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2020-21 campaign.
