Legacy Early College (SC) power forward Perry Smith, Jr. has received an offer from Hofstra Men’s Basketball program, today he Tweeted.
In addition to Hofstra, Smith owns offers from Iona, Boston College, Marquette, Presbyterian, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas A&M, TCU, LSU, Nebraska, and DePaul, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Many high school hoops insiders consider Smith–a 6-foot-9, 225-pound junior–as one of the best players in his home state of South Carolina. And his improving talent, with a year left to play, continues to increase his college stock.
The Hofstra Pride posted a 13-10 and went 8-6 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action this past season.
