It has been a productive day for 2022 Cardinal Hayes (NY) forward Tobe Awaka, who today earned four Division I college basketball offers from Manhattan, Marist, Northeastern, and St. Peter’s (NJ), per Tweets from VerbalCommits.com and Brian Reichert.
Additionally, Awaka, who also plays AAU hoops for New Heights Lightning NYC, owns offers from Bowling Green and Bryant, according to VerbalCommits.com.
The 6-foot-8 Awaka is agile with strong hands and nifty footwork around the basket.
Awaka scored 16 points in the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) spring tournament boy’s basketball championship-winning game in May at Stepinac High School.
