Susan Wagner girls’ basketball team used a 32-point, 11-rebound performance from the incredible Nicole Melious to down Class “AA” Truman, 67-59, in a PSAL non-league game Saturday at home.
In the victory, Melious scored her 1600th high school career point, and now has averaged 40.5 points per contest across 16 tilts this season.
The Single-A Lady Falcons improved their record to 13-3 overall and are 9-0 and in first place in their conference, in front of New Dorp, who is 7-1 and in second.
Wagner travels to Brooklyn on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. to face Kennedy Catholic (NY) at the Post (100 Dobbin St).
