Elizabeth Bennett’s 23 Paces St. Joseph Hill to Second Straight Win Over Fontbonne

St. Joseph Hill Academy girls’ basketball team defeated Fontbonne Hall, 62-36, Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn.

Junior forward Elizabeth Bennett, whom Assistant Coach Matt Garin said she dominated inside, dropped in an impressive 23 points while 6-foot-1 sophomore Tara Murphy contributed 12 in the Koalas’ victory.

St. Joseph Hill improved to 12-3, and have eight contests remaining in the regular season, with the last five at home.

The Koalas play Notre Dame on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the College of Staten Island (CSI).
