2022 St. Joseph High School (Cali) guard Dre Roman has received an offer from Stony Brook Mens’ Basketball program, yesterday he tweeted.
It was the first Division I offer for the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Roman, but he does hold a D II offer from Fresno Pacific University.
Roman is a top overall California high school point guard who has been a consistent performer for the Knights throughout his high school career. This season, he has averaged 14.2 points, 3.4 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game, per MaxPress.com.
Stony Brook is 14-10 overall and 6-5 in American East Conference (AEC) action. But are leaving the AEC for the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) after this season.
