Class of 2026 Bergen Catholic (N.J). guard Chidi Nwigwe has received an offer from Illinois, per Zach Smart’s Tweet today.
Additionally, the incoming freshman, who also plays AAU Hoops for the Riverside Hawks, holds offers from St. Bonaventure and Georgia Tech.
Smart calls Nwigwe “a three-level scorer with advanced feel for the game.”
The Fighting Illini posted a 23-10 record and went 15-5 in Big 10 Conference action this past season.
