Class of 2024 Cardinal Hayes (Bronx) guard Ian Jackson has verbally committed to Division I North Carolina Mens’ basketball program, today VerbalCommits.com Tweeted.

Ian Jackson picks North Carolina over 10 other D1 hoop programs.

Jackson, who plays travel hoops for Wiz Kids Basketball, also holds offers from Kentucky, UCLA, UConn, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Nebraska, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Kansas State and Bryant, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Additionally, Jackson won a gold medal with the USA 16u Junior National hoops team.

The Tar Heels are 12-6 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) so far this season.
