Monmouth Hoops Lands Tulsa Transfer, Ukraine Native Nikita Konstantynovskyi


Former Tulsa forward/center Nikita Konstantynovskyi is transferring to Monmouth University Hawks Basketball (N.J.) program, today he Tweeted.

The 6-foot-10, 233-pound Kyiv, Ukraine, native saw 11 minutes of action last season, scoring two points in two contests.

Konstantynovskyi played in 27 games with nine starts in his first season at the University of Tulsa, averaging 8.6 minutes per game in the 2021-22 campaign.

Before that, he averaged 11.1 points and 8.0 rebounds in 21 games, helping to lead Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) to a 14-9 record and an appearance in the NJCAA South Central District semifinals. Additionally, Konstantynovskyi ranked second nationally in NJCAA for field goal percentage (60.2), second for blocked shots (44), fifth for offensive rebounding (88) and ninth for total rebounds (214).
