Class of 2023 Red Rock Academy (Las Vegas, Nv.) player and Brooklynite Spencer Mahoney has verbally committed to Division I Washington State University, today he Tweeted.
The former Xaverian High Schooler (Brooklyn) held offers from Hampton, Coastal Carolina, Siena, Harvard, Robert Morris, Syracuse, Texas A&M, St. John’s and Wichita State, per VerbalCommits.com.
The 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward averaged 18 points and six rebounds in the 2022-23 campaign with Red Rock Academy.
Washington State posted a 17-17 overall record and went 11-9 in Pacific-12 Conference action this past season.
