NY Havoc Basketball and Wilbraham and Monson Academy (Mass.) rising senior combo guard Ella Chandler has received and offer from Division I Manhattan College Womens’ basketball, yesterday she Tweeted.
Chandler also holds an offer from Dartmouth.
Just like a guard with her particular skill set, Chandler can play the role of a floor general, directing her teammates on where they need to be on the hardwood for designed plays, not to mention her ball-handling skills are particularly high-level.
But her shot has improved, helping her become an offensive threat.
Additionally, Chandler’s 6-foot frame creates mismatches, an added benefit of being tall that most guard do not possess. She can also rebound well.
The Jaspers posted a 16-17 overall record and went 10-10 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2022-23 campaign.
