Staten Island’s Anthony Prato Propels St. Paul Saints to Comeback Win Over Mud Hens

Shortstop Anthony Prato, a Staten Islander and ex-Poly Prep Country Day School (Brooklyn, N.Y.) shortstop, powered the St. Paul Saints (Minnesota Twins Triple-A) with a spectacular night, going 3-5 with two doubles, a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in their 10-6 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens (32-40) Friday night at Fifth Third Field.

Prato. who played college ball for UConn, smacked his fourth dinger, second with the Saints, of the season.

Right-handed relief pitcher Blayne Enlow (1-1) was superb in 4.1 innings of relief, allowing one run on two hits with four strikeouts, as St. Paul came from behind for the win.

The triumph improves St. Paul to 42-30 on the season.
