Steven Solano of Christ the King Hoops Picks up 2 D1 Offers: St. John’s, Northern Illinois


Christ the King High School (N.Y.) rising senior forward/center Steven Solano has picked up Division I offers from St. John’s and Northern Illinois Mens’ basketball programs, today he Tweeted.

Steven Solano earns 11th and 12th D1 offers.

The 6-foot-11, 235-pound Bronx, N.Y., native also owns offers from Division I hoops programs such as Fordham, NJIT, Hampton, Oklahoma State, Illinois, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Bryant, and Nebraska, according to VerbalCommits.com.

The Red Storm posted an 18-15 overall record and went 7-13 in Big East Conference action this past season.
