Class of 2024 Notre Dame High School (N.J.) and Team Sharp Blue 17U five-foot guard Simone Pintinalli has verbally committed to Division III Ithaca College Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted.
Pintinalli led the Irish with 270 points and grabbed 56 rebounds and made 27 steals in 26 games the 2022-23 campaign.
Pintinalli owns a slick handle, which enables her to create enough separation to get off an outside jumper, which usually falls at an efficient rate.
In fact, she is a proficient three-point shooter, and hit a huge, game-winning behind-the-arc bucket with two seconds remaining on the clock to help Notre Dame outlast Allentown, 44-42, in the Mercer County quarterfinals.
The Bombers posted a 24-5 overall record and went 17-1 in Liberty League Conference action this past season.
