Pequannock Township High School and 17U New Jersey Panthers AAU rising senior guard Chloe Vasquez has verbally committed Division I Iona College Gaels Women’s Basketball program, yesterday she Tweeted.
Vasquez scored team-highs in points with 505 and rebounds with 203. She added 67 assists and 70 steals in 25 games for Pequannock last season.
The 5-foot-10 three-time All-Conference 1st Team player sports an overall complete game. Just give Vasquez a little room, and she will burn the opposition with her sweet outside jumper, especially from behind the arc. Plus, she is a good passer and owns a high motor on defense.
Iona posted a 26-7 overall record and went 18-2 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2022-23 campaign.
