Ocean Township High School and Shoreshots HGSL 17U rising senior Gamila Betton has verbally committed to Adelphi University Women’s basketball program, yesterday she announced via Twitter.
The center/forward dropped in 249 points and grabbed 180 boards in 29 games played last New Jersey girls’ high school season.
Betton is potent post player, using her size and strength for positioning and to backoff defenders while scoring down low. She also provides her team with ample amount of second chances as she gathers the rock off the glass.
Adelphi posted a 10-16 overall record and went 7-13 in Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference action in the 2022-23 campaign.
