St. Joseph by the Sea, New Heights NYC’s Danielle Williamsen Commits to D1 Marist Hoops


Danielle Williamsen of St. Joseph by-the-Sea Girl’s basketball team and New Heights NYC has verbally committed to Division I Marist College Women’s basketball program, today she announced today via Twitter.

Staten Island’s Danielle Williamsen picks D1 Marist College Women’s basketball.

Williamsen, a guard, enjoyed a tremendous season, averaging 22.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 steals, and shot 38 percent from beyond the arc as a junior at the Huguenot, Staten Island, high school.

The Vikings claimed the 2022-23 New York City and New York State Class “A” Catholic High School Athletic Assocation (CHSAA) Championships, as well as the 23’ NYS Federation title.

Marist put up a 12-18 overall mark and went 8-12 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Assocation (MAAC) in the 2022-23 campaign.
