On Wednesday, September 6th, the Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Eastern League Double-A affiliate, will be giving away Austin Wells Bobblehead dolls to first 1,000 fans through the gates 12 and older.
Wells, a catcher and the eighth-ranked prospect in the Yankees’ minor league system, is now with the big club.
Wells, 24, has played with three teams this season: Tampa (High-A), Somerset and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Triple-A). He has combined to hit .240 with 17 home runs and 72 RBI while slashing .333/.442/.775 in .371 at-bats in 96 games.
