Hoopers NY Take Game 2 Over Team Evo in Team Miller/Coaches Choice Challenge Behind Schrecker’s 20

In Hoopers NY’s Game 2 of the Team Miller/Coaches’ Choice Challenge yesterday, junior Jordanna Schrecker drained 20 points to help her squad propel past Team Evo, 65-46, Sunday at Edison High School in New Jersey.

Additionally, Schrecker, who also plays for Staten Island’s New Dorp High School, grabbed 11 rebounds and had seven assists in the win.

Hoopers NY head coach Dan Melious praised the highly recruited Schrecker for her impressive do-all abilities on the hardwood, not to mention her overall leadership skills.

“Jordanna is our best player,” Melious said. “She can do so much on the court. She can defend other team’s best player, score, handle on the press and rebound.”

Class of 2025 Iva Corluka of Ardsley High School (N.Y.) contributed 12 points and pulled down 16 boards with six blocks while Rye High School’s (N.Y.) sophomore Phoebe Greto dropped in eight points and collected 11 rebounds in the triumph.
