Star junior pitcher Camryn Fisher of Ellington High School (Conn.) and Newtown Rock Garvey has verbally committed to Division I Syracuse Softball program, today she announced via X.
Fisher was simply remarkable with the Knights, buzz-sawing through the completion like nobody’s business. She posted a 16-5 record last season with a 0.46 ERA and a 0.54 WHIP. Additionally, she had struck out 297 batters in 136 innings pitched (2.18 Ks/inning) while just allowing 37 knocks to the tune of .083 batting average against.
The Orange put up a 24-26-1 overall mark and went 7-15-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference (#ACC) play in the 2022-23 campaign.
