Montgomery HS, Diamond Jacks’ Righty, 1B John Donahue Commits to D1 Seton Hall Baseball


John Donahue of Montgomery High School (N.J.) and Diamond Jacks 17U Super has verbally committed to Division I Seton Hall baseball program, today he announced via X.

Montgomery High School’s John Donahue to join Seton Hall University in fall of 2025.

Donahue, a junior pitcher and first baseman/outfielder, led the Cougars’ pitching staff with a 2.33 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 27 innings of work in the 2022-23 season. He also batted .368 with a home run and 14 RBI in 57 at-bats.

The Pirates posted a 31-24 overall record and went 13-8 in Big East Conference action last season.
