Class of 2024 Lynnwood High School (Wash.) and Team Stuck 360’s Aniya Hooker has earned a Division I offer from Siena (N.Y.) College Women’s basketball program, yesterday she announced via X.
In addition to the Sienna offer, the 5-foot-9 guard holds offers from Northwest Florida State (JUCO), Willamette (D3), Western Oregon (D2), Southern Idaho (JUCO), George Fox (D3), among interest from other programs, according to X account.
Hooker checks all the boxes for a gifted player, as some would say she is an undeniable problem for the opposition. She owns a slick handle, shoot well from the outside (due to her fluid stroke and solid follow through) and is smart, both on the hardwood and in the classroom, as she holds a 3.97 GPA, per her X account.
Siena posted a 19-13 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2022-23 campaign.
