Smithtown West High School (Long Island, N.Y.) senior wide receiver/defensive back Jack Melore has earned an offer from Division I Marist College Foxes football program, yesterday he Tweeted.
Melore set the all-time Long Island career receiving yards and career reception records after Smithtown West High School’s week seven game. He currently has over 130 career catches, over 2,262 receiving yards, 69 receptions in a season (2022) and 16 catches in a game twice (’22, ’23).
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is an excellent athlete, having been named to All-County, 2nd Team All-Long Island, 3rd Team All-State in football and basketball All-County, All Long Island and All-State teams.
The Foxes have posted a 4-3 overall and 4-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MACC) thus far this season.
