Former Lincoln High School (Brooklyn, PSAL) quarterback Tylik Betha helped lead Division I Bethune-Cookman football to a 20-7 victory over Mississippi Valley State Thursday night at home at Daytona Stadium.
Betha completed 12 of 18 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown with a 115.23 quarterback rating. He also rushed for 34 yards on four carries in the win.
He played three seasons at Delaware State before arriving at Bethune-Cookman.
Betha, a graduate student, connected on 122 of 225 passes for a 54.2 percent completion average in his senior campaign at Lincoln while amassing 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns in the process.
He totaled 3,500 passing yards on 247 completions and 38 touchdowns in his high school career.
