Class of 2025 Priest River Lamanna High School (Idaho) guard Tyler Engelson has received an offer from Division I New Jersey Institute of Tecnology (NJIT), yesterday he said via X.
It was the second D1 college basketball offer for the 5-foot-11, 160-pound junior, as Northern Illinois offered him back in June, per his X account.
A hard worker who has gained muscle and strength (235-pound bench press), Engelson owns a sweet outside stroke, either from long range or mid-range. But he can also go to the hoop for buckets.
Furthermore, he got taller and picked up some height on his vertical leap over the summer. Therefore, in my opinion, more offers should soon follow suit.
The Highlanders posted a 7-23 overall record and went 4-12 in America East Conference (AEC) play last season.
