Ahmad Torrence of Thurgood Marshall Academy (PSAL/Manhattan, N.Y.) has picked up his fifth Division I college basketball from the Manhattan College Jaspers Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced via X.
In addition to the Jaspers’ offer, the 6-foot-5 Harlem. N.Y., native, who also plays for the NY Lightning, holds offers from Norfolk State, Fordham, Northern Illinois and Chicago State, per VerbalCommits.com. Plus, Torrence held an offer from the now-defunct St. Francis Brooklyn Terries, who no longer have an athletic program.
Manhattan is off to a 2-1 start and will travel to Central Connecticut State Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
