Class of 2024 Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) and NY Rens guard Dylan Harper has verbally committed to Division I Rutgers University Men’s basketball program, today multiple sports media outlets announced.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Harper, who is the son of five-time NBA champion Ron Harper, picked the Scarlet Knights over Kansas, Duke, Indiana and Auburn, among other programs, per sources.
Harper, who will be joining a fantastic Rutgers recruiting class next season, drained 522 points and 62 rebounds in 21 games played in the 2022-23 campaign.
The Scarlet Knights are off to a 5-3 start and will face Seton Hall Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at the Prudential Center.
