Jordanna Schrecker’s Awesome Production Leads New Dorp to Two Big Wins

New Dorp High School junior guard Jordanna Schrecker continues to prove why she is one of the best basketball players in New York City’s PSAL, as she recently enjoyed tremendous back-to-back games.

In a 69-48 New Dorp (7-0) win over Tottenville on Tuesday, Schrecker, who also plays for Team Lightning Melious, scored 20 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and had four assists.

Sophomore guard Sabrina Desio dropped in a game best 21 points while senior guard Mya Nisbet contributed 16.

Over this past weekend, Schrecker drained 21 points, pulled down 15 boards, had 13 helpers and made 10 steals–a unmatched quadruple-double that powered the Central Cougars to an 87-32 victory over Beacon.

Desio had 26 points and six assists, while Nisbet poured in 17 points and had 10 helpers.
