The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed infielder/left fielder and New Jersey native Alec Craig for the upcoming 2024 Frontier League season, yesterday the team announced via X.
Craig, 27, spent last season with the Boomers, batting .249 with two home runs, 40 RBI, 84 walks and 37 stolen bases in 333 at-bats in 95 games.
Craig first signed with Schaumburg in 2021 and has played in three campaigns with the team.
Before turning professional, Craig suited up for four years at Division II Chestnut Hill College baseball program in Philadelphia, hitting .314 and swiping 98 bases out of 116 attempts for his career.
