Cardinal Hayes High School (Bronx, N.Y.) sophomore Malik Fields has received an offer from Division I Florida International University (FIU) Men’s basketball program, today Zach Smart wrote on X.
In addition to the FIU offer, the 6-foot-5 point guard holds offer from Texas A&M, per VerbalCommits.com.
Smart describes Fields as an inside-outside scoring threat, with a mid-range game and catch-and-stick threat from the great beyond the arc.
FIU is 5-11 overall and 0-1 in Conference USA action thus far this season. The Panthers host New Mexico State Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
