The Winnipeg Goldeneyes of the independent American Assocation (AA), a MLB partner league, have re-signed outfielder Miles Simington for the upcoming 2024 season, the club announced on X.
Simington, 24, spilt the 2023 campaign with the Goldeneyes and the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League, with a combined .302 batting average with four longballs and 30 RBI in 232 at-bats in 68 tilts between both stops.
In college, Simington batted .383 with seven home runs and 53 RBI in 214 at-bats in 52 games with the University of South Alabama Jaguars in 2022.
Before that, the Bloomington, Ill., native played with the Purdue Boilermakers, batting .322 with a team-leading 14 doubles in the 2021 season.
