The Sioux City Explores signed infielder Delvin Zinn for the upcoming 2024 independent American Assocation baseball season, today the league announced via X.
Zinn, 26, for spilt time between the Explores and the Milwaukee Milkmen, hitting three home runs, driving in18 RBI and stealing 31 bases in 238 at-bats in 85 games in the 2023 campaign.
A 28th and 23rd round selection in the 2015 and 2016 MLB Amateur Drafts, respectively, out of Itawamba Community College (Fulton, Miss.), Zinn spent six seasons with the Chicago Cubs organization, playing as high as AA Ball and clubbing seven longballs and 93 RBI, while swiping 92 bases in 370 contests.
