The Lake Erie Crushers of the independent Frontier League (FL) have signed outfielder Justin Farmer for the 2024 season, today the team announced via X.
Framer split time between the Fort Wayne TinCaps (High-A) and the San Antiono Mission (AA) of the San Diego Padres organization last season, hitting three home runs and 28 RBI with 18 stolen bases in 295 at-bats in 93 games.
Before turning professional, the 25-year-old spent two years (2020-21) at Florida International University (FIU), batting .303 and slashing .379/.525/.903 with 10 dingers, 54 RBI and 13 doubles in 221 at-bats in 65 contests.
