Class of 2024 The Phelps School (Pa.) guard Jacob Hudson has received an offer from Division I Iona University (N.Y.) Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.
While the Iona offer was the first for the 6-foot3, 185-pound Texas native, per VerbalCommits.com, he should conceivably garner more before all is said and done.
Hudson is described as an explosive, athletic player who can drain the ball on all three levels. Additionally, he possesses a high basketball acumen, and defends well against multiple positions on the hardwood. He is also an excellent shot blocker.
Hudson said in an interview that he also enjoys golfing and bowling for fun.
The Gaels are 7-9 overall and 2-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MACC) so far this season.
