Tamel Morgan of Brooklyn’s James Madison High School has picked up an offer from Division II Post University (Conn.) football program, yesterday he announced on X.
The Post offer is the second for Morgan, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound senior offensive/defensive lineman. He garnered his first in November from D2 American International College (AIC).
Head coach Tommy Salvato sang Morgan’s praises before the season started, and he said he is optimistic he will play at the next level before everything is said and done, given his size, talent and intangibles.
“He’s a big kid, coachable, with a real nice demeanor,” Salvato said of Morgan in a Madison High Football 2023 season preview.
Post went 1-9 overall and plays in the Central Athletic Colligate Conference (CACC).
