South Shore Big Man Asher Elson Earns Illinois, Creighton Hoops Offers

South Shore High School (Brooklyn) 6-foot-10 center Asher Elson has picked up offers from Division I Illinois and Creighton Men’s basketball programs, today he wrote on X.

Asher Elson picks up third D1 College basketball offer.

Additionally, the junior has offers and interest from the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, Iona, Penn State, St. John’s (offer), Syracuse, among others, according to PDT Scouting’s post on X, as well as VerbalCommits.com.

Elson has averaged 7.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 10 games so far this season, per PSAL.org. The Vikings are 9-1 in PSAL play.

Illinois is 12-4 overall and 3-2 in Big 10 Conference action thus far in the 2023-24 campaign.
