Class of 2024 IMG Academy (Fla.) wing and New Zealand native Will Shortt has verbally committed to Division I Niagara University Men’s basketball program in Lewiston, New York, he recently announced on X.
The 6-8 wing is a good pickup for the Purple Eagles, as it is getting a player who owns an above average outside jumper, especially from behind the arc, finds himself around the ball, and rebounds particularly well.
Shortt played with NZ Basketball U17 in the FIBA World Cup in 2022 and NBA/FIBA BWB Asia that same year.
