Roxbury High School (N.J.) senior wide receiver/corner back Jared Irwin has verbally committed to Division III Misericordia University’s football program, today he announced via X.
The 6-foot-2 Irwin, a two-way player, caught 11 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, the ball hawk made a total of 36 tackles, fumble recovery, a team-leading five interceptions, including a pick-six in a come-from-behind 22-21 victory over Parsippany Hills in Roxbury’s season opener.
The Cougars posted a 4-6 overall mark and went 4-5 in Middle-American Conference (MAC) action this past season.
