Xzaivion Betts of Brooklyn’s Abraham Lincoln High School has picked up his first and second offers from Alfred State College and Wilkes University Division III football programs, today he wrote on X.
Betts is 6-foot-2, 170-pound senior who was a lock down corner back for the Railsplitters, that possessed a nose for the football. He simply knew when to break to the football while in the air and when to make a move on the ball carrier.
The Pioneers posted a 6-5 overall record and went 3-1 in Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) action in 2023. They won the ECFC Championship after beating Dean College, 55-3, in their regular season finale. Alfred went on to make the NCAA D3 tournament for the first time in program history–a first round, 56-14, loss to Mount Union.
