Newark Academy Dynamic PG Dagny Slomack Commits to Central Connecticut State Hoops

Newark Academy (N.J.) point guard Dagny Slomack is taking her hardwood talents to Division I Central Connecticut State Women’s basketball program, as she has committed to the school today, per her announcement via X.

The 5-foot-5 dynamic, high-energy Slomack has poured in 236 points, grabbed 65 rebounds and made 68 steals in 13 games so far this season. A solid three pointer shooter, Slomack has connected on 28 attempts from beyond the arc.

Slomack, who also suits up for the NY Gauchos 17U 3SSB sqaud, led the Minutemen in points with 471 last year. On defense, Slomack is a pesky offensive disrupter, breaking the opposition’s dribbling and shooting rhythm. Case in point, she led the team with 128 thefts in the 2022-23 campaign.

The Blue Devils are 4-15 overall and 2-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action thus far this season.
