On Sunday, February 25th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., New York Met legendary closer John Franco will be at Woodbridge Brewing Co. (33 Main Street, Woodbridge, N.J.) for a meet-and-greet event.
Franco, a four-time MLB All-Star and three-time National League save leader, will be signing autographs and posing for photos with fans. Pre-sale tickets are $59.00 per person, and Franco will sign any item. But attendees must bring their own piece of memorabilia for him to autograph. Please call 732-977-9481 or visit its Facebook page and WoodbridgeBrewingCo.com.
Franco, a Brooklyn native and St. John’s University alumnus, racked up 424 saves (the most by any lefthanded MLB pitcher) to go along with a 90-87 record and 2.89 ERA across his 21-year MLB career.
Franco appeared in one World Series with the Mets in 2000, in which they lost to their crosstown rivals New York Yankees.
