Class of 2026 Bishop McNamara (Md.) guard Qayden Samuels has picked up an offer from Division I Rutgers Men’s basketball program, yesterday he said wrote on X.
In addition to the Rutgers offer, the 6-foot-5, 175-pound Samuels, who also suits up for Team Takeover Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), holds ones from Maryland, Providence, Illinois, VCU, Virginia Tech and Florida State, per VerbalCommits.com.
Samules is a physically tough player with the ability to connect on challenging jump shots and finishes well around the hoop in traffic.
The Scarlet Knights are 10-10 overall and 2-7 in Big 10 Conference action so far this season.
