Class of 2024 Tajuan Simpkins, a Brooklyn native and Northwest Florida State guard, has received an offer from Division I Georgia Southern University Men’s basketball program, he recently wrote on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard holds offers from Siena, North Carolina A&T, Nothern Illinois, Radford, Northwestern State, North Carolina Central, Hofstra University, Cal State Bakersfield and Eastern Kentucky, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Simpkins, who played for Liberty Heights Athletic Institute, is averaging 14.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assist per game in 22 contests.
Georgia Southern is 5-19 overall and 5-7 in Sun Belt Conference (SBC) action. The Eagles play Buffalo today at 3 p.m.
