St. Lucie Mets Name Ex-Minor Leaguer Jordan Kraus as Their New Pitching Coach


The St. Lucie Mets, the Low Single-A affiliate of the New York Mets, have dubbed Jordan Kraus as their new pitching coach, the team recently announced via X.

Kraus, 32, last played with the Milwaukee Milkmen of the independent American Assocation in 2019, where he posted a 7-5 mark with 3.64 ERA with 58 strikeouts in 99 innings of work in 19 games.

In addition to six seasons of minor league pitching to his credit, Kraus is the former pitching coordinator at Cressey Sports Performance, a high-performance training outfit with locations in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Hudson, Massachusetts.

Kraus posted a 38-31 record with 3.34 ERA with 417 strikeouts for his minor league career. He also attended a year of college at Division II Wheeling Jesuit University, where he went 2-3 with a 4.84 ERA in 35.1 frames in six affairs.
